But... to our even greater luck, we didn't spend the whole time driving up and down the streets, we went to the Japanese Tea Gardens...
...and had an outside snack.
the pictures above and below are of the same bridge! except the one below was taken of my mom and her sister circa 1975 (and my Halmoni, their mom, is in the background). So sweet, right? I wish they would have left it red.
Afterward we drove to Concord to meet my Halmoni for dinner. I love that lady.
